Yhteishyvä magazine is free for all co-op members – just use your S-Etukortti. You can pick it up from the issue date onwards at S-markets, Prismas, Sales, Food Market Herkku, Sokos stores, some ABC service stations, and through the online grocery store (S-kaupat) across Finland.

The magazine comes out four times a year.

Yhteishyvä magazine is a thought-provoking read packed with current topics, heartfelt stories, and practical tips for a more responsible everyday life. It also features seasonal food and clever recipes.

The much-loved, high-quality recipes will continue to appear both in the pages of Yhteishyvä magazine and, as always, on the website.

Questions and answers about in-store distribution

Why is Yhteishyvä distributed in S Group stores instead of being posted to members?

Yhteishyvä is available free of charge to all our co-op members. You can pick it up either in S Group stores or through the online grocery store (S-kaupat).

In-store distribution has been in place since May 2023, and our members have responded positively to the change: they've appreciated the environmental benefits, the freedom of choice, and the convenience of picking up the magazine during a shopping trip.

Yhteishyvä is evolving: we're investing more in digital content, and the print magazine is getting a fresh new look – ready to grab in store.

Is Yhteishyvä magazine free?

Yhteishyvä is free for all co-op members with an S-Etukortti. Without the green S-Etukortti, the magazine costs four euros.

Yhteishyvä is the cooperative's own media for its members, and the magazine is a co-op member benefit.

The popular, high-quality recipes and interesting articles on yhteishyvä.fi are available to everyone.

My local store didn't have Yhteishyvä magazine – where can I get it?

Yhteishyvä is available at S-markets, Prismas, Sales, Food Market Herkku, Sokos stores, some ABC service stations, and through the online grocery store (S-kaupat) across Finland.

Yhteishyvä comes out four times a year: in February, May, August and November. The magazine is available in stores for one month after each issue, or until stocks run out.

I only shop online – how do I get Yhteishyvä magazine?

You can add the magazine to your order in the online grocery store (S-kaupat.fi and the mobile app). It's free for co-op members.

You'll find it on the S-kaupat.fi homepage, or you can search for it using the keyword Yhteishyvä. Just add it to your shopping cart.

When you're logged in to S-kaupat.fi with your S-login, you'll get the magazine for free. The price is 4 euros for non-members.

Are there any regional exceptions to Yhteishyvä's distribution?

There are a few regional exceptions.

• In the HOK-Elanto area, the magazine is not distributed in Alepa stores.

• In the Hämeenmaan Osuuskauppa area, the magazine is not available at Sokos Lahti.

Can I read Yhteishyvä magazine online?

On yhteishyva.fi you can read all Yhteishyvä content, and you can also read the digital edition here.

I'd rather not pick up Yhteishyvä magazine from a store – can I have it delivered to my home?

Unfortunately, the magazine is no longer sent by post.

My local store had run out – can I pick up a copy from another store, from a store near my summer cottage, or from outside my own cooperative's area?

You can pick up the magazine from any store that takes part in the distribution.

Is Yhteishyvä magazine only in Finnish?

Samarbete, Yhteishyvä's Swedish-language magazine, also comes out four times a year. You can pick up Samarbete free with your S-Etukortti at selected stores. See the list of stores that carry Samarbete here.

Can a secondary cardholder also pick up the magazine? Previously it was only sent to the primary member.

Yes, anyone who holds an S-Etukortti can pick up the magazine in store.

Can I take more than one copy of Yhteishyvä magazine?

You can collect up to three copies of Yhteishyvä magazine per S-Etukortti.

Can a relative or friend pick up the magazine on my behalf?

Yes. The magazine can be collected by showing an S-Etukortti.
