Crispy potato wedges
Yhteishyvä’s beloved potato wedges are expanding their culinary horizons! Pick your favourite style: fresh Mediterranean, spicy Tex-Mex or nuanced Asian cuisine.


4 servings | Preparation time 30 min | Oven temperature 200 °C
Original recipe:
700 g potatoes
3 tbsp rapeseed oil
½ tsp paprika powder
½ tsp pepper mix
½ tsp salt
Yoghurt dip
1 clove of garlic
1½ dl unflavoured yoghurt
½ dl mayonnaise
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp mustard (gluten-free)
a pinch of salt
a pinch of crushed black pepper
Wash and chop the potatoes into wedges. Mix the oil and spices. Toss the potatoes in the oil. Spread the potatoes on a baking tray on a sheet of baking paper. Cook in an oven at 200 °C for about 20 minutes.
Prepare the dip. Peel and grate the garlic. Mix the dip ingredients in a bowl. Serve the potatoes with the dip.

Prepare the potatoes according to the basic instructions. Season and garnish as desired:
Mediterranean potato wedges
Use olive oil as the oil for the recipe. Add 2 teaspoons of grated lemon peel, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano and ½ teaspoon of garlic powder. After baking, crumble a package (150 g) of feta cheese onto the surface. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Tex-Mex potato wedges
Use rapeseed oil as the oil for the recipe. Add 1 teaspoon paprika powder, 1 teaspoon cumin and ½ teaspoon chilli flakes. Serve with guacamole, salsa and crème fraîche.
Asian potato wedges
Use toasted sesame oil as the oil for the recipe. Leave out the salt – instead add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of grated ginger. After cooking, sprinkle sesame seeds on the surface and garnish with fresh coriander. Serve with sriracha mayonnaise.
